VOLUNTEERS/COACHES:
The Mahwah Youth Tennis Program needs volunteers to serve as coaches. Without a sufficient number of volunteers, the tennis program will not be able to operate. Each group of children MUST HAVE a parent coach assigned to them. There will be 15 groups of 6-7 children. Therefore, the program needs 15 volunteers. The requirements of being coach are to:
1. Communicate with the parents of the children in your group
2. Be present at each session
3. Instruct the children and/or work with a high school instructor
NOTE: In order to ensure quality playing time and maintain an orderly operating environment, the number of children being accepted by the tennis program will be capped at 100.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
The Mahwah Youth Tennis Program is in need of additional parent volunteers. In order to continue offering tennis as a recreational sport in Mahwah, the program needs more support from parents willing to serve as coaches. The requirements of being coach are to:
1. Communicate with the parents of the children in your group
2. Be present at each session
3. Instruct the children and/or work with a high school instructor
Tennis is a sport that your children can play for the rest of their lives. Please sign up to be a coach and keep the program alive!
